1. Who We Are
Nexo Doors is a trading name of David Ellis, a sole trader based at 24-32 Bridge End, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 4DJ. You can contact us at hello@nexodoors.co.uk or 0113 460 2108 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
2. These Terms
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through nexodoors.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by them. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force at the time you place your order will apply to that order.
3. Our Products Are Made to Order
Every door and window we sell is manufactured to the exact size, colour and specification you select at checkout. Nothing is held in stock as a finished, ready-to-ship item. Please read this carefully, as it affects your cancellation rights (see Section 7).
4. Placing an Order
By placing an order, you confirm that the sizes, colours, configuration and quantities you've selected are correct. It's your responsibility to measure accurately, we're happy to advise, but the final measurements submitted at checkout are what we manufacture to. A contract between us is formed once we send you order confirmation and, where applicable, your final sign-off is approved.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example if a size falls outside what we're able to manufacture, if there's a suspected error in pricing or the order, or if we're unable to verify payment. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we'll refund you in full.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices shown on the site are in GBP. We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors, even after an order has been placed; if this happens, we'll contact you before proceeding and you may cancel if you're not happy with the corrected price.
Full payment is taken at the time of order unless we've separately agreed other terms with you in writing.
6. Delivery & Lead Times
See our Delivery & Returns page for current lead times, delivery charges, and what to do if something arrives damaged.
The lead times we quote are estimates, not guarantees. Made-to-order manufacturing can occasionally take longer than expected. We're not responsible for any losses, costs or delays you, your builder, or your installer may incur as a result, including but not limited to booking or rescheduling tradespeople, delays to a wider building or renovation project, or any other knock-on impact at your site.
7. Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, most online purchases come with a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel for any reason. Because our products are made to your personal specification (bespoke goods), this right does not apply to orders placed through Nexo Doors, in line with the regulations' exemption for personalised or custom-made goods.
If you wish to cancel before production has started, contact us as soon as possible, we'll always try to accommodate this where we reasonably can, but we're not obliged to once your order is confirmed.
8. If Something's Wrong With Your Order
The cancellation exemption above does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or doesn't match what you ordered, contact us with your order number and photos, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. See our Delivery & Returns page for how to report this.
9. Guarantee
See our Warranty Information page for details of the guarantee included with your order.
10. Installation
We are predominantly a supply-only business. Unless we've explicitly agreed to arrange installation for you, our products are supplied for fitting by you or your own installer. We provide installation guides for this purpose, see our Downloads page. We're not responsible for issues arising from incorrect installation by a third party we didn't arrange or approve.
11. Our Liability to You
We provide our products with reasonable care and skill, and nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Subject to that, our liability to you for losses arising from your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We're not liable for losses that aren't a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, or for business losses if you're a consumer buying for personal use.
12. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
We won't be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including material shortages, extreme weather, or supplier failures.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Contact & Complaints
Questions about these terms, or want to raise a complaint? Email hello@nexodoors.co.uk or call 0113 460 2108 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm), and we'll do our best to sort it out directly.
